Take Home Practice

Hold a toy car at the top of a pillow ramp and say "Ready... Set..." in an exciting voice. Pause for a few seconds to let your child say, sign, or point to "GO!" before zooming the car down. This simple, repeating game teaches your child that using the word "GO!" makes fun actions happen immediately.

Sorting by Size: Big vs. Small

Set out a large basket and a small bowl, then gather a mix of distinctly big and small household items like stuffed animals and toy cars. Hold up one item at a time, ask if it is big or small, and help your child drop it into the matching container. Practicing this with everyday toys helps build foundational early math skills through hands-on play.
