Hello Bear Families, Hello Bear Families,

It’s hard to believe we are already halfway through March! The second semester continues to move quickly, and our building has been full of activity as students stay engaged in their classes, activities, and the many opportunities that come with this time of year.

We would like to invite parents to participate in our next Principal Advisory Meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, March 17, at 8:15 am via Google Meet. This meeting is an opportunity for parents to share feedback, ask questions, and discuss ideas with school administration. We value parent voice and always appreciate the insight families provide as we continue working to support our students and school community.

We also want to take a moment to celebrate some great accomplishments in our school community. Congratulations to our Girls' Basketball team for winning the District Championship. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, determination, and the way they represented our school throughout the season.

Congratulations as well to our DECA students who advanced to the International Career Development Conference. This is an outstanding accomplishment, and we wish them the very best as they represent our school at the international level.

Finally, a huge congratulations to the Bearbots. Last weekend, they made it to the playoffs for the first time in team history, which is an exciting milestone for the program. Our Bearbots will compete again on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Woodhaven High School.

Thank you for your continued support of RHS. We look forward to a great remainder of the month!

Go Bears!

Mr. Reynolds, Mr. Hickey, Mrs. Bukosky, Mr. Petrick, and Mr. Schley

State-Mandated Testing State-Mandated Testing

Dear Parents/Guardians of Roosevelt High School Students,

As we look ahead, we want to remind you that the state-mandated testing for 9th to 11th-grade students is coming up soon. These assessments are essential and required by both the district and state for ALL students.

For your information, here is the testing schedule. It is important to note that all tests are mandatory and your student is expected to participate on each designated day.

In previous years, your student has remained at home on days they were not scheduled to take tests. However, due to recent legislation, this practice will be changing. We will provide you with additional information soon regarding the days your child is not scheduled to test. Please keep an eye on your email for further updates.

9th Grade

April 8 - PSAT 9 testing

10th Grade

April 9 - PSAT 10 testing

11th Grade

April 8 - SAT testing

April 9 - WIN testing

April 10 - M-Step testing

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
