Family Reimbursement Account
Have access to health insurance through a spouse or another employer? A new voluntary benefit may help you save!
Beginning in 2027, eligible employees and dependents who switch from district health insurance to another employer's plan can receive reimbursement for 100% of eligible in-network medical and prescription expenses, including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.
A few things to know:
You must have been covered by the district's health plan for the previous 12 months.
Reimbursements cover eligible healthcare expenses, not insurance premiums.
Special rules apply to HSA-qualified high-deductible plans.
Curious if this could work for your family?
During the weeks of October 26 and November 2, you can schedule a virtual, one-on-one conversation with our benefits consultant to explore your options.
