Wolf Pack Library News

Every week we update the number of books that have been checked out of our library. Last year we ended with over 49,000 books checked out! Let's see if we can beat that number this year!

It's hard to believe the first six weeks has already come and gone! Here are a few of the things we've done in the library so far:

• Passed out devices to all of our students PK-5th grade
• Library orientation
• Hosted read aloud volunteers from the community
• Learned about how the library is organized and how to read call numbers to find a book
• How to use Sora - the online resource for ebooks and audiobooks (2nd-5th)
• Digital Citizenship lessons

On top of that, all classes have also gotten the chance to enjoy a few read alouds.

Thank you to our community volunteers from Capital One for coming out and reading books about financial literacy to our students!

We were so excited to have Coleman’s Corner reach out to us to provide two of our teachers with new books! Each teacher received between 75-100 age appropriate books. Our recipients were Mrs. Najera's class in Kindergarten and Mrs. Thomas' class in 3rd grade.

Coleman’s Corner will also be filling our school's little library outside of the building twice a month with 25-30 books for all ages.
