Hello Barrett Families!

Spring is blooming, and our school is buzzing with curiosity! This month students are learning about animals in our World of Wonders curriculum! As the weather warms up, please remember to send a light jacket for outdoor play.

Parents and guardians please be mindful of when our start and end times are. The morning session begins promptly at 8:15 and ends promptly at 10:45. The afternoon session begins promptly at 12:00 and ends promptly at 2:30. It is very disruptive to the learning environment when students arrive late to school on a frequent basis. Thank you!

Teacher Appreciation Week is the week of May 4-8. Please be on the lookout for a flyer going home regarding how you and your family can participate to celebrate our wonderful teachers and staff!

April 29 - Raising a Reader Family Engagement Event 5:00-6:00 (Sign up ahead of time)

May 4-8 Teacher Appreciation Week

The Monday we return from vacation starts a new fundraiser for the Barrett Russell! We will be working with Domino's to sell pizza cards! All cards will cost $20.00 and will get you a free large pizza with the purchase of a large pizza! Who doesn't love free pizza?! If you purchase 10 pizzas, you get 10 free! The card will be valid through 12/31/26! $10.00 from every card sold will go directly to our school! Order forms will be sent home on Monday, April 27th! The fundraiser will run through May 11th.

We are focusing on Courage during the month of April. Please check out the newsletter for courage that goes along with our Social-Emotional Learning curriculum - Character Strong!
