The RaguetReviewOctober 5th-October 9th

A Message From Mrs. Theiss

Dear Parents and Families,

Welcome to October! We have a full month packed with exciting activities and important events, so please take a moment to mark your calendars with these key dates:

  • Open House: Join us this Tuesday to connect with our staff, visit classrooms, and see what your children have been working on.

  • Picture Day: Smiles ready! Student picture day will be this Thursday.

  • Fall Break: School will be closed from October 9th–12th. Enjoy the long weekend with your family!

  • Fall Festival: Pay special attention to upcoming announcements regarding our Fall Festival—lots of fun details are heading your way soon. See a preview below!

Celebrating Our Students & Supporting Success We truly value supporting and encouraging our kiddos every single step of the way! To celebrate their progress, we have plenty of fun rewards and incentives planned throughout the year. Participating is simple—students just need to follow classroom rules and stay on top of completing their work. You can help support them at home by encouraging them to commit every day to being respectful, responsible, and ready to learn.

Important Dismissal Safety Reminder: To ensure a smooth and safe dismissal process for all students, we will not dismiss students from the front office after the first bus arrives. If you need to check your child out early, please make sure to do so prior to 2:45 PM.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We look forward to an amazing month ahead!

Warmly,

Mrs. Theiss

Dear Raguet Elementary Families,

We are excited to announce an upcoming reward field trip to the SFA Basketball Game at William R. Johnson Coliseum on Wednesday, November 4th for students in 2nd through 5th grade!

Please note that attendance on this trip is a reward, not a right. Because this is a privilege earned through exceptional behavior rather than an academic requirement, only students who meet our behavior standards will receive an invitation to attend.

Eligibility Requirements (October 5th – October 30th):

  • Maintain a 95 or better in conduct.

  • Zero ISS or OSS referrals.

Students who do not qualify or choose not to attend will remain on campus for a regular school day.

Please review, sign, and return the attached permission form to let us know if your student has permission to attend pending their eligibility. Let's encourage our students to keep up the great conduct!

Attendance Matters!! Attendance Matters!!

At Raguet Elementary, strong attendance is critical to student success—every day spent in the classroom helps our Dragons learn, grow, and thrive!

To encourage our students to be on campus every single day, we have launched our Perfect Attendance Rewards program! Throughout the school year, students, homerooms, and grade levels can earn exciting incentives like pizza parties, LEGO set drawings, special treats, and fun campus celebrations just for being present.

If your student must miss, we understand, but please turn in your note to Ms. Christopher at kchristopher@nacisd.org

Thank you for your partnership in making sure your student arrives on time and ready to learn. Let’s keep those attendance numbers high and celebrate our Dragons all year long!
