Bulldog Library

As we keep our fingers crossed that 2021 is far better than 2020, your Bulldog Library wishes you and your loved ones all the best in the new year. We also want you to know that we are here for you as we continue on this virtual learning experience. If you need any support - academic, social, or emotional - please reach out.

This book is available on Hylton's JLG Digital bookshelf until January 30th. Check out more information about JLG Digital here: E-books & Audiobooks: C.D. Hylton Library (instructure.com) Need more help getting signed into JLG Digital? Ask a library team member! Mrs. Terrillion and Mrs. Rhodenhizer are just an email away!

Want to read but don't have a lot of extra time? Try reading a novel in verse. These books are told without the wordiness (is that even a word??) of a regular novel. Check out this list of novels in verse available right now to all of our Hylton Bulldogs - students and staff. Destiny Discover Home (follettsoftware.com) You will find many reading formats available including:

• eBooks
• audiobooks
• print books

Click the "Log In" button in the upper right corner to sign in to check out eBooks or audiobooks, or to put a print book on hold for curbside service. Just click the blue button (see picture) and it will sign you in automatically.

Virtual escape rooms can be a great way to relieve some stress and have fun with fellow Bulldogs. We recently hosted a Stranger Things themed escape room that was a lot of fun. Look for an upcoming announcement on the Library Canvas page for information about our next escape room and how you can sign up!

Looking for opportunities to socialize with other Hylton students? Join a book club!

• CISL Book Club - This book club is designed for CISL students to earn CISL points, but anyone can join. We meet two times per semester, or once per quarter.
• Bulldog Book Club - This book club meets more often and reads books just for fun - no points or extra credit assigned.

Email Mrs. Terrillion or Mrs. Rhodenhizer for more information about how to join.
