Maltby Movie Night
Hot Air Balloon Lesson
It's that time of year again for our big Hot Air Balloon lesson!
We need helping hands for each grade level in the cafeteria. The project is already planned for each class lesson, and you will be those amazing supporters to help our students create beautiful hot air balloons!
Below is the sign up sheet for each grade level...sign up for as many as you would like and are able! This is such an exciting project that our students love to see throughout the hallways of Hawkins as with wrap up the school year!

Staff Appreciation Week for Students
Hawkins Staff Appreciation Week is quickly approaching on May 4th-8th, and we are celebrating our wonderful staff with SUNSHINE! Please join us and participate in some student-led ways to show gratitude.
Please ask your student to fill out the "About My Teacher" and "All About Someone Special" sheets and return on Monday, May 4th. Copies will be coming home in student folders, but students are encouraged to print and return as many as they would like!
Send-a-Sip with Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck
SEND-A-SIP to our staff and show your appreciation on May 8th! There are very few pairings better than teachers and coffee.
Although the form asks you to add a recipient name, please know all donations go toward our entire Hawkins staff. We'd never let anyone go without a treat!

Just-In-Case Clothes
Please make sure your child has an extra set of clothes in their backpack. Accidents happen while your child is at school (bathroom accidents, playground mishaps, lunchroom spills, ripped or torn clothes, etc.) and we do not have extra clothes to lend out. Having an extra set here at school saves parents from having to make a trip to Hawkins during the day. We appreciate your help!
Parent Volunteers
All parent volunteers must undergo a background check in order to volunteer at Hawkins. If you have not done so yet and are planning on volunteering at Hawkins, click on the link below to access Brighton Area Schools Background Check Form.
