Wildcat Families,

As a society we are seeing an ever increasing need for mental health services, this is true in schools as well. We are fortunate to have an outstanding team, with Jaden Bohr, school guidance counselor; Abby Boyd, behavior interventionist, and Angie Raddatz, school social worker (through Keystone AEA).

Keystone has partnered with the University of Iowa on a federal grant to increase the number of mental health professionals graduating in Iowa and serving our schools. As part of this grant they are hosting community gatherings to gather feedback on the need in northeast Iowa. I am sharing with you the flier with the information if you are interested in attending. They are looking for parents, caregivers, anyone interested in this area.

Nancy Eastman and Michelle Berenten were awarded Healthiest State Initiative for the 2023 K-12 award. Nancy and Michelle also served on a professional panel at the conference sharing all of the fantastic activities happening at Riceville that support the 5-2-1-0 health and wellness platform.
