And Now...Summer 🌞

As we close the door on another school year, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all of our Lakewood families for your support, patience and flexibility throughout the year. Your encouragement and trust have played an important role in the success of our students.

This year brought many memorable moments, celebrations, challenges, and accomplishments. Through it all, our students continued to learn and grow because of the strong partnership between home and school. Thank you for supporting your children, our staff, and one another along the way.

As summer begins, I hope your family enjoys a season filled with fun, laughter, relaxation, adventure, and, most importantly, safety. Take time to make memories, enjoy the sunshine, and celebrate all that your children have accomplished this year.

We are excited about what the future holds. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year at Lakewood Elementary in Lake Odessa as we begin a new and exciting chapter together, bringing our early childhood center and early elementary programs together. This transition represents a tremendous opportunity to strengthen our school community and continue providing outstanding educational experiences for all.

Field Day

A huge shout-out to our incredible staff for coming together to organize a last-minute "Mini Field Day" for students! Although our original Field Day had to be canceled due to the school closure and roof collapse, our team was determined to provide students with a fun and memorable experience to end the year.

Students rotated through a variety of stations led by teachers and the day concluded with a refreshing popsicle to help everyone cool down and celebrate a great afternoon.
