Events, Updates, and More
Fun Run
Thanks to your amazing support, the Fun Run fundraiser raised over $3000 this year! Students had a blast running for donations. The top fundraisers were given an opportunity to push a pie into the face of a chosen teacher. We are so proud of our students for their energy, ethusiasm, and teamwork.
Reading Celebration
We reached an exciting milestone - over 50 million words read! To celebrate, students enjoyed a fun-filled inflatable day. What a fantastic way to recognize a love of reading!
Creative Arts Family Night
Our hallways and forum were filled with creativity as we showcased the incredible talents of our students. Student artwork was displayed throughout the school and student talents were showcased in a talent show. In addition, the writing club featured a student author and the final publication of the writing club students' writing for The Origin Project. Our fifth grade musicians also had the opportunity to share their original song compositions. Thank you to all of our families who joined us to celebrate the arts and support our young creators.
Paws for a Cause
Our Greendale Lions showed just how big their hearts are through our PAWS campaign. Students brought in donations to support our local animal shelter, helping provide much-needed supplies for animals in our community. From food and treats to blankets and toys, every contribution made a difference.
We are so proud of our students for showing compassion, responsibility, and kindness to animals in need. Together, we are making our community a better place - one paw at a time.
Greendale Lions Senior Walk
We were so excited to welcome back former Greendale students - now proud soon-to-be graduates of Abingdon High School - who visited us in their caps and gowns. Seeing those seniors walk our halls again was a powerful reminder of how far they've come and the bright futures ahead of them.
Our current students loved cheering them on and giving words of encouragement. Moments like these inspire our young learners to dream big and work hard.
Once a Greendale Lion, always a Greendale Lion!
Arbor Day Tree Ceremony
Our 5th grade students celebrated Arbor Day in a meaningful way! They learned about the importance of trees, environmental stewardship, and how small actions can make a big impact on our planet. To put their learning into action, students worked together to plant a tree right here on our campus- leaving a legacy for future students to enjoy. We are so proud of our young leaders for taking steps to care for the Earth and make Greendale even more beautiful.
