Saint of the Month
Living Like the Saints
This month, our focus is on the following Beatitude: "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied." (Matthew 5:6) Righteousness is associated with the virtue of Justice, Justice encompasses fairness, integrity, and living by moral principles.
Living Like the Saints
Youth 2000 Retreat
The diocese is hosting YOUTH 2000 again this year. Its unfortunately is the same weekend as the Gala. We are organizing groups from St. Lukes since it is preferred that they go with their parish group vs individual. We need to know which kids and adults are attending from St. Lukes, so I've created a signup on planning center. However, they need to register through the diocese webpage to pay and sign waivers. It is for children aged 13-18. Here is the link to the St. Luke's events page listing the details. https://slte.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/3319449
We Learn
Understanding ESA, Tuition, and Long-Term Financial Planning
Parents are invited to a special one-hour session at St. Luke’s focused on helping
families navigate the financial side of Catholic education with confidence. We will
walk through the current state of the ESA program, how it may evolve in the
coming years, and what that means for St. Luke’s, Dowling, and overall family
budgeting. The discussion will also cover our tuition structure, future projections,
and practical strategies for planning ahead.
Kevin Shires, CTO board member, will lead the presentation and provide insights
grounded in both data and experience. Light refreshments will be available, and we
will leave time at the end for questions.

CYC
CYC Registration opens on November 8th, 2025, at 12:00pm CST. To learn more and to register, visit our website (linked HERE).
At CYC, campers experience the joy of the Gospel in action—from daily Mass, prayer, and small group ministry to ziplines, campfires, and lake adventures. Each week is designed for a specific age group, helping campers grow in faith and confidence alongside new and old friends. We have weeks designed specifically for your elementary and junior high students! Our mission is simple yet powerful: to create joy-filled missionary disciples of Christ who carry the love of Jesus into the world!

Christmas Ministries
Make a gift of your hands!
Christmas is fast approaching, and we need many volunteers to help us celebrate our holy liturgies! Liturgical Ministers are asked to please check the sign-ups in Ministry Scheduler and add yourself to the Mass you plan to attend. If you have questions or need assistance signing up, please contact Mike Roarty at jmroarty@outlook.com or 303-717-9826.
Adults and older teens looking to gift their time and talents during Masses can set up 1:1 trainings with volunteer Ministry Leaders. See the many ministries to choose from on our website: https://www.slte.org/liturgical-ministries
