Community Day
During our recent Community Day, students engaged in a meaningful celebration of Black History Month by learning about influential Black figures and showcasing their impact through creative door decorations. Each class chose a notable individual to research, highlighting their achievements, contributions, and lasting legacy. The beautifully decorated doors not only reflected the students' learning but also fostered important conversations about history, resilience, and inspiration. This school-wide effort brought our community together in a powerful way, reminding us of the importance of honoring and learning from Black history every day!
On the half day, buddy grades went around to each door to write facts about the people on each door. It was an excellent way to continue the learning!
Thank you as well to our volunteers to helping pulling this together and come in to help the students create the door on the day of! We truly appreciate your support to make this happen.

Collecting Recyclables
We need your help! This April, our school is launching an exciting project that encourages creativity and sustainability, and we’re asking families to donate recyclable materials to support our students’ learning.
If you have clean, reusable items such as cardboard tubes, egg cartons, plastic containers, bottle caps, or other craft-friendly recyclables, please send them in with your child or drop them off in their classroom. Your contributions will help bring this project to life and inspire students to think creatively about reusing everyday materials.
If you can donate hot glue guns, packing tape, masking tape, etc. to help us put it all together, we would also appreciate that!
Thank you for your support—we can’t wait to see what our students create!
