Minute by Minute News
September 23rd-27th
Wolf Ridge Students & Families,
It's START WITH HELLO WEEK next week!
This is my favorite week of the entire year. It is a week to celebrate friendship and spread kindness to everyone. One of our main goals at Wolf Ridge is to be a place where everyone feels like they belong and are valued. We will have special greeters each morning, fun prizes, dress-up days and so much more! School should be a place where everyone feels safe. School should be fun! Let's make it an amazing week. It starts with a simple, "HELLO!"
Thank you for your support,
Mrs. Ronen
START WITH HELLO WEEK: Sept. 23-27
Respect the Red Coupons
Be on the look out for "Respect the Red" coupons! All staff at Wolf Ridge will have coupons to pass out each month to those students they see demonstrating respect, responsibility, empathy and determination. We want to encourage those students who are "doing the right thing" at our school. One side of the coupon will be sent home. The other side of the coupon will be placed in a monthly drawing for prizes. The more coupons you get each month, the better your chances for a prize during our drawing at the end of the month.
Pick Up & Drop Off Reminders
- It is important that all car riders are picked up and dropped off in the carline. This decreases the amount of traffic we have in the front of our building to avoid both the busses and our walkers.
- PreK students and their siblings are the only ones who can be picked up and dropped off by the prek double doors under the awning.
- While we understand there may be special circumstances such as appointments that cause you to pick up your child early from the office, we will not allow this on a regular basis during the timeframe of 2:50-3:15. This is a very busy time for the office. Please use the careline.
- Please be sure to have your child's car tag visible for our dismissal crew. This is much better than verbally telling them the car tag number. When we have to look up your child's car tag number, this slows the dismissal process, too. Please call the office if you need a new car tag.

September Wellness Family Challenge
We are encouraging our staff members to STEP into STEPtember with a fun walking challenge. We want to include our students and families, too! Check out the flyer for details.
The American Heart Association reports walking is the most popular form of exercise. There are proven benefits to both walking and being outside. We hope this will provide a healthy and fun activity for your family!
You can print your own scavenger hunt but we will also send home a copy with each student.
It is not necessary to find every item. Just get outside and walk, have fun, and try your best! A winner will be chosen at the end of the month.
