🏃♀️Get Ready for Ridgeline’s Jog-a-Thon!
📅 Wednesday, October 28 | Starting at 10 AM
It’s almost time for one of Ridgeline’s favorite traditions—the Jog-a-Thon! This fun-filled, all-school event is not only a blast for students, but it’s also our second-largest fundraiser of the year!
🌟 Goal Alert! If we raise $12,000, students will vote on one of three hair dye colors for Principal Sara.
💥 How YOU Can Be Part of the Fun:
👟 Volunteer
Whether you’ve got an hour or the whole morning, we need helping hands to make the day a success. From handing out water to counting laps, there’s a job for everyone.
👉 Sign up here and be part of the fun!
📣 Come Cheer - Family Friendly Costumes Welcome!
Bring your signs, your loudest cheers, and your school spirit! This year, the Jog-a-thon falls during our school’s spirit week. Families are welcome to come and cheer wearing a fun costume. No masks or scary attire. We’d love to see families out there supporting our amazing students as they walk, run, and raise funds for Ridgeline’s Art program, P.E., and facilities.

Let’s make 2026–2027 an amazing year for our Ridgeline community! 🎉
📅 Classroom Volunteering Starts October 23
In Montessori, the first six weeks of school are known as the Normalization Period. This is when classroom communities settle into routines, build relationships, and establish a peaceful learning environment with as few outside interruptions as possible.
After this period (ending October 23), students and teachers will be ready to welcome volunteers into classrooms.
Now is the perfect time to:
Complete and sign your Background Check form, and provide a copy of your driver’s license (email both pieces to bethany.dilla@ridgeline.org)
Sign the Volunteer Code of Conduct
That way, you’ll be ready to jump in when the time comes!
🤝 Tracking Volunteer Hours
New to Ridgeline? Track It Forward is where families sign up for volunteer opportunities and log their volunteer hours.
First-time users:
Visit Track It Forward or download the Track It Forward app from your device’s App Store.
Create an account or log in.
Sign up for volunteer opportunities and remember to log all of your volunteer hours!
💚 Why It Matters
Please make it a habit to track ALL volunteer hours throughout the school year. Your volunteer hours help us demonstrate community support when applying for grants and reporting to our sponsoring district, Eugene 4J.
