We hope all of our families had an exciting and restful summer vacation and are ready to start a brand new year here at Albert Schweitzer Elementary.

We have some very important changes this year so stay tuned...............

New students and kindergarten will receive homeroom teacher and room number information as well as student transportation information (which includes student bus stops and pickup times) through a mailing. If you have any questions regarding this information, please contact the office at 215-809-6380. This information is mailed to NEW STUDENTS ONLY. A letter providing you with your child's HOME ACCESS username and password will be mailed during the first week of school. IT IS IMPORTANT INFORMATION, PLEASE PUT IT IN SAFE PLACE.

All other NSD students can receive this same information on Home Access Center. Usernames and passwords remain the same as previous years and should be used to view all student information including, scheduling, transportation, classing and grades as each marking period ends. REPORT CARDS WILL NOT BE MAILED OR DISTRIBUTED TO STUDENTS.

If you do not have a HOME ACCESS Username and Password for your child or have misplaced it, please contact the office at 215-809-6380. We will be happy to provide you with a duplicate letter.

Please take a moment to check the Home Access link and verify the contact information listed. Parents have the capability to update phone numbers and email addresses so feel free to confirm the information listed or change if it incorrect..

Parents, guardians and visitors to the building will be asked to go through our EZ Lobby system. The purpose of EZ Lobby is to ensure that visitors have their personal background "cleared" through a kiosk monitoring system prior to entering. This system used at all NSD schools has been established to help maintain a high level of safety and security for students and staff. The EZ Lobby system is located within a security vestibule. If the EZ Lobby system grants access the visitor will be permitted to enter the building. The visitor will then go directly into the main office to receive a visitor's badge. Visitors will then be asked to physically sign in with their name, date, time and reason for the visit in the dedicated visitor book.

If a visitor advises the main office that they are merely dropping off items for their child (instruments, homework, lunches etc.) and not entering the school hallways, these items should be left in the office. the items should be clearly labeled with their child's name.
