Bearcat of Character Bearcat of Character

We are proud to honor our Bearcat of Character for Open Mindedness, 6th Grader - Elliot Skinner. Elliott consistently shows open-mindedness in class discussions and activities. He is always willing to consider new ideas and perspectives, even when those ideas differ from his own. His ability to listen respectfully to his peers and thoughtfully reflect on different viewpoints greatly enhances classroom conversations. His openness to learning from others shows a mature and adaptable mindset, which will serve him well in future academic and personal challenges

All Region Band All Region Band

46 AMS Band students competed in the highly competitive region band audition process last week. Over 1400 students from 40+ middle schools auditioned for less than 300 spots. Congratulations to the students who were named members of the 2024 Region 30 All-Region Band! These students will get to participate in a clinic and concert with the All-Region band in early December.

Lunch Deliveries

In the event that you need to deliver lunch to your student, please follow the steps below:

  1. Please be sure that the lunch is clearly labeled with your student's first and last name.
  2. Upon entering AMS, please place your student's lunch in the bin assigned to your student's grade level lunch.
  3. The bins will be delivered at the start of each lunch period. Students will be responsible for getting their lunches from the bin.

Again, we request that you limit lunch deliveries when possible. Also, in order to limit distractions, we will not call students out of class to receive lunches.

Thank you for your help with this!
