Congratulations go out to Coach Cole and the 7th Grade Boys basketball team on their championship win last Saturday. The Irish capped a great regular season with their win versus Olentangy Shanahan by a score of 62 - 48 to capture the title!

Though there is still plenty of snow outside, the winter sports season has come to an end. We wanted to thank all of our parents, players, and coaches for a tremendous season. All of our parent volunteers who helped at games and matches, the car pooling, and team meals that took place helped make our kids and coaches experience a great one. Thanks to Irish Nation for all you do!

Spring sports tryout, conditioning, and practice information can be found on the Spring Sports section of the athletic website. Season game schedules have also been posted as well for your planning purposes.

Long Weekend Coming Up! No School February 13 or 16

There is no school February 13 or 16 due to a Professional Development Day on Friday and President’s Day on Monday.

Upload Absence Documentation via Campus Parent Portal

Dublin City Schools families now have a new, convenient option for submitting absence documentation through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Receive a medical note after reporting your child’s absence? Instead of sending a paper copy or a separate email, simply log in and upload it directly to the existing request.

After logging in, select More and then Absence Request. Click View Requests, locate the prior absence in the list, and open it. From there, select Upload Document and choose your file.

Using this feature saves paper, eliminates an extra trip to the office and reduces additional emails to attendance secretaries. It is a small step that helps streamline processes across Dublin City Schools. We appreciate families taking advantage of this new option to support efficient, timely communication.

Do you own a business and want to connect with students?

The Work in Dublin Student Job Fair is March 20. Once again this year Dublin City Schools is partnering with the Dublin Chamber of Commerce to present the Work In Dublin Student Job Fair. We are looking to connect as many students and businesses as possible. Families with a business looking to hire students can register their business for the event until February 27.

Pop In Food Pantry

The Dublin Food Pantry is holding a “Pop In” Pantry on Thursday, February 19, from 4-5:30 p.m., at the Dublin Food Pantry, 6608 Dublin Center Dr. Dublin OH 43017. We will be serving a variety of fruits and vegetables free of charge. We will also have dry goods available. No formal registration is required. This event is a partnership among the Dublin Methodist Hospital Family Medicine Residency Clinic, Dublin City Schools, and the Dublin Food Pantry.
