Principal's News
Third grade classrooms recently welcomed a special visit from the Easton Children's Museum, bringing hands-on learning about forces and motion to life. Students experimented with a wind tunnel to explore drag, discovering that larger parachutes create more resistance, and then built their own “parachute people” to test their designs. They also investigated thrust by creating paper helicopters, using propellers and added weight to see how motion and direction could change. The visit wrapped up with a collaborative push-and-pull challenge, where students worked together to guide markers through mazes using only strings. It was an engaging experience that combined science, creativity, and teamwork. Thank you to our PTO for bringing this exciting program to our third graders!
