Prosper ISD First Day

Our staff, teachers, and administrators are excited to return to school! There is nothing like the start-of-school jitters as teachers and students alike pack backpacks with new school supplies and hopes and dreams of a new year of learning, exploring, innovating, and building for a better tomorrow.

Prosper ISD continues to be the fastest-growing school district in North Texas, and we believe that it is because our teachers and staff bring something special to our classrooms, our fields, our courts, our concert halls, and our theaters. They bring the best of themselves to bring out the best in our students. As your partners in education, we are deeply honored that you have chosen Prosper ISD to be a part of your child's story.

Our Board of Trustees heard from our families

This summer, as our Board of Trustees listened to the heartfelt stories of our families, we were reminded of the profound impact that a caring teacher can have on a child's life. Through your words, we heard the transformative power of a teacher who believes in a child, even when they doubt themselves. We felt the joy of a student who finally found a sense of belonging and acceptance. And we were inspired by the unwavering dedication of our educators who go above and beyond to support our students. Here are some of the feelings they shared:

“For the first time, my child had a teacher who not only believed in my child, but built my child’s belief in herself.”

“My child always thought he was slower than the other children in his class. His teacher in Prosper showed him how he just worked differently. And now he feels confident about tackling things that might seem difficult.”

“The teachers and coaches in Prosper are so dedicated to our kids.”

“My child found a place where they feel a sense of belonging, acceptance, and support.”

What does excellence look like for my child?

Our teachers want to connect with you. As teachers get to know your child this year, they can speak to you about performance across multiple measures. Inquire about growth trends, areas of excellence, and opportunities for further development. By doing so, you'll gain a much richer understanding of your child's educational journey.

At Prosper ISD, we measure success not just by test scores but by the growth, resilience, and character of our students. We celebrate the unique talents and passions that each child brings to our community. We are committed to providing an education that goes beyond academics, one that nurtures the whole child and prepares them for a lifetime of learning and success.

Thank you for choosing Prosper ISD

So, as we begin this new year, let us approach it with open hearts and minds. Let us build a partnership based on trust, communication, and a shared love for your child. Together, we can create a school experience rich in meaning, purpose, and joy.

Thank you for being a part of the Prosper ISD family. We are honored to walk alongside you on this incredible journey.
