Peace of Mind for Your Family’s Future
Every parent’s greatest hope is to protect and provide for their child, especially when that child has special needs. Love alone isn’t enough to secure the future, but early planning can give you the comfort of knowing you’ve done all you can.
Join Christopher Silva, ChSNC®, financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual, for Creating Financial Security for a Loved One with Special Needs. Chris understands this journey personally, having cared for his brother with special needs, and brings genuine compassion to his work with families. He will share practical steps to prepare for two generations of financial security, explain how tools like special needs trusts and ABLE accounts can safeguard benefits, and show you how to build a trusted team to bring lasting peace of mind.

January Student of the Month
Each month, District 95 asks every building to select a student who represents our District Values of collaboration, continuous improvement, equity, high expectations, integrity, perseverance, and respect. For the month of January, Spencer Loomis chose Third Grader, Kanika G.
Kanika regularly demonstrates the portraits of a graduate. She is an advocate for others in and out of the classroom. She is an effective communicator with both students and teachers. She embodies a growth mindset and encourages others to do the same. Kanika is often found helping others unprompted. She notices when her friends are in need and offers her support. Kanika is undoubtedly more than ready for anything the future has in store for her. We honor Kanika for our student of the month!
