Next week, we're launching our Schoolwide Attendance March Madness Tournament! Each week, classes will compete head-to-head. The class with the highest attendance percentage advances to the next round. A slideshow with daily attendance percentages will be on display in the cafeteria each day during lunch. The winning class earns a pizza party!

Sign up today for the FREE 2nd Annual MVR-III "Together We Grow" Family Resource Event hosted at Riverbend Middle School from 5:30 - 7:30 PM on Thursday, March 6. Gain insight with workshops on navigating power struggles, promoting language development, preventing drug & alcohol use, teaching safe Internet use, and more. Do you have a rising Kindergarten student? Kindergarten Registration for the 2025-26 school year is now open! Because you are an existing family within the district, this will be completed through your Infinite Campus Parent Portal (watch this IC online registration video for a preview).

If you do not have your Infinite Campus Parent Portal set up yet, please contact your school building secretary for assistance. You will be provided a KEY, which can be entered on this Infinite Campus-New User webpage to create your account.

• Once logged in, click the three-line menu > More > Online Registration / Update:

  • IMPORTANT - Smartphones are not supported devices for online enrollment.

  • If you do not have access to a computer, Chromebook, or tablet, please contact your building to set up an appointment. We are happy to provide a district device on-site and assist you with completing the application!

• At the next screen, click Start on the 25-26 Kindergarten (and New-Student-to-District) Registration item:

• On the Student tab, verify info for all other students returning for the 25-26 school year.

• Click Add New Student if your incoming Kindergarten student is not already in the system.

Visit the Enrollment Info page on our website or call Central Office at 636-271-1400 if you have any questions. Thank you for ensuring that MVR-III has the latest information about your student(s)!

Week 1: Listening & Expressing Ideas

1. Storytelling Circle – Each family member adds a sentence to a made-up story. This builds listening skills and creative thinking.
2. Mystery Bag Descriptions – Put an object in a bag, and one person describes it while others guess what it is.
3. Emotion Charades – Act out different emotions and have family members guess the feeling. Discuss what body language and tone of voice show emotions.
