Message for the Week:
Message from Mr. Tejkl
Patience and Grace...
Good morning!
Welcome to the last week of January! I hope that your weekend is going great and I would like to thank everyone who continues to put our students, staff, and district in front of the many things that go on. From activities, to donations, to being present; it means the world to us all!
Patience and grace are essential elements of relationships. Offering patience means allowing others the time and space to grow, learn, and navigate challenges at their own pace without judgment. Life is filled with ups and downs, and everyone is fighting battles we may not see. By practicing patience, we give empathy, understanding, and respect for the different journeys of those around us. It also gives a sense of safety, communication and deeper connections, as people feel supported rather than rushed or criticized.
Grace, on the other hand, is the act of extending kindness and forgiveness, even when it may not be earned or expected. It acknowledges that we all make mistakes and that no one is perfect. By showing grace, we create an environment of compassion and second chances, allowing others to feel valued despite their mistakes. This not only strengthens relationships but also promotes a culture of mutual respect and goodwill. In giving patience and grace, we model the behavior we hope to receive in return, creating a culture of love and trust.
Have a great rest of your Sunday and I will see you tomorrow!
Quote of the week to reflect on:
"Grace is more than patience.
Patience withholds. Grace gives.
Ptatience permits. Grace provides.
Patience is reactive. Grace is proactive."
@Leaderhipfreak
Sincerely,
Tucker Tejkl
