Open House
At Open House, we had PTO, The Girl Scouts, and The Hubbardston Library set up in the foyer, speaking to families. If you or your child(ren) is interested in joining one of these groups, let us know, and we will get you in touch with the correct people.

Lesson on Belonging
Every day, we have morning announcements over the intercom. Regardless of the message on any given day, I end each announcement with the same final sentence: "Remember, you belong here, and we believe in you." Throughout the month, I met with each grade level in our school's library to share a lesson on belonging. I read and discussed the book Belonging Is...with the children. Students then wrote their names on a puzzle piece, as the puzzle pieces are symbolic of each member of our school belonging to our school's community. Once our final project is complete, we will share photographs.
