Dear Wolfpack Community,
The last day to order an AP exam without a $40 late fee is Sunday, November 9th. The last day to cancel an exam for a full refund is Sunday, November 9th.
All AP exam registration can be completed at GOHS TOTAL REGISTRATION LINK.
There are many benefits of taking not only an AP course, but also the AP exam. The biggest benefit for students is that preparing for and taking the exam allows students to build skills and confidence that they will carry throughout high school and into college. Students learn what methods will help them study - from flashcards and games to collaborative study groups. They learn what note-taking structures will help them with complex text. They learn how to apply test-taking strategies in a timed environment. When GOHS students come back to visit from college they ALL share that being in the class AND taking the exam help prepare them for classes and make college EASIER for them! For families, there is the benefit that your student can earn college credit, reducing not only the cost of tuition, but also waiving of introductory classes.
We highly encourage our students to not only take AP exams, but also to sit for the test. If you have any additional questions or need help with registration, please reach out to Mrs. Casady.
Sincerely,
AP and IB Staff
Happy School Psychologist Week!

Together, we are collecting new items to create care packages that we hope will bring comfort and encouragement to those who serve and protect us.
GOHS is hosting a Military Care Package Donation Box in the front office. We invite you to get involved by dropping off new items between October 12, 2025 and November 12th, 2025. Your generous donations will help us assemble thoughtful care packages that can make a difference.

#BetheOne to Honor Our Indigenous Peoples: Student Voices Shine!
We are incredibly proud to recognize the Indigenous Peoples Club for their outstanding representation of our school community at a recent REDI (Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Commission Meeting at City Hall.
The students from the club accepted an invitation to address the commission and did an absolutely phenomenal job speaking about their club. Our students spoke with eloquence, passion, and deep knowledge, By sharing their experiences and viewpoints, the Indigenous Peoples Club successfully highlighted the diversity and thoughtfulness that defines our student body. They demonstrated the profound commitment of our students to engage in civic discourse and drive positive change.
Their participation not only brought important Indigenous voices to a key municipal forum but also served as an inspiring example of youth leadership and advocacy. Please join us in congratulating the members of the Indigenous Peoples Club for this significant accomplishment!

CalKIDS Program
The California Kids Investment and Development Savings Program (CalKIDS) was launched in 2022 by the State of California with a clear mission: make it easier for more children to save for their future education.
Administered by the ScholarShare Investment Board, CalKIDS takes the initiative by automatically offering newborns and eligible low-income public school children in California an initial seed deposit, along with other potential financial incentives. This ensures that they can start their college and career savings journey right from the beginning. TVUSD students who qualified have at least $500 in their CalKids account, and some might have more. Here are the steps students need to take to claim their account:
