TGMS Weekly Updates
October 26, 2026
A message from Dr. Morford
Get ready! On Friday, October 30th for the return of the TGMS Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser as we raise funds to support school events, classroom programs, and student supplies! Students are welcome to dress up for this fun event, but please remember that no face paint, masks, or costume accessories are permitted. You can easily register your student online at app.99pledges.com/fund/tgmsfall2026/addme to help them earn exciting incentives like extra recess, treat coupons, and a chance to silly string the principals!
On another note, I just wanted to remind families that food is not to be delivered to the building for students, and if fast food is dropped off for students they will need to eat it in the office to avoid disruptions in the classroom.
Thank you for your help!
Family Fun Night - Save the date!
Please save Nov. 12th from 6 to 8pm for Family Fun Night! Be on the lookout next week for more information from classroom teachers on this fun and engaging event! I am looking forward to the opportunity for staff, students, and families to have a great time together.

PLSD Community Cookbook in the works
What’s Cooking, Pickerington?
In celebration of National School Lunch Week, the PLSD Food Services team is creating a recipe book — and they want your family’s favorite recipe to be part of it!
What’s the recipe that always gets a thumbs-up at your house?
Maybe it’s a favorite way to enjoy apples. A veggie-packed dish the whole family loves. A smoothie that disappears in minutes. Or a recipe that’s been passed down through your family.
Share it with us!
As part of our Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, Pickerington Local Schools Food Services team is collecting family-favorite recipes featuring fruits and vegetables to create Our Families’ Favorite Recipes — a recipe book celebrating the tastes, traditions and creativity of our school community.
Share Your Recipe by filling out the Google Form below:
And don’t worry — it doesn’t have to be fancy. If your family loves it, we want to know about it!
Let’s see what’s cooking in Pickerington!
