• 2-3 Walkers: Door 1
• 4-5 Walkers: Door 6 (playground)

If older siblings are walking together with a younger sibling, families may use the entrance assigned to the youngest sibling if this will be their regular routine.
Students arriving after 7:45 a.m. must enter through the main entrance (Door 1) and check in at the office.
For safety and to encourage student independence, parents/caregivers should wait outside and allow students to walk to class independently.

- Use the sidewalks: Please remind students to stay on the sidewalk and avoid walking though the parking lots.
- Use designated crosswalks: Students should only cross the street at the five designated crosswalks around the school. Staff members are stationed at the crosswalks to help students cross safely.
- Parents/Caregivers: Please wait outside the school during arrival and dismissal. If you need to speak with your child's teacher, we are happy to help! Please arrange a time with the teacher to discuss any questions or concerns.
New Field Trip Process - UPDATE
What Parents Need to Know: Our Updated Field Trip Process
We have updated our field trip procedures to streamline communication and improve the administrative process for families. Please review the key details below:
One-Time Blanket Permission: Parents provide consent for all field trips during Annual Online Registration, covering the entire academic year (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027).
Automatic Opt-In Status: Once online registration is completed, students are automatically opted-in for scheduled field trips.
Managing Specific Trips: Upon receiving notification of an upcoming trip, log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal and visit the School Store to submit payments or opt out of that specific event.
Strict Deadlines: All payments and opt-out requests must be completed at least two weeks prior to the trip date. For extenuating circumstances, please contact your school secretary promptly.
Mandatory Registration: Completing Annual Online Registration is required for field trip participation. Students with incomplete registrations will not appear in the School Store system.
If you need technical support or require alternative arrangements, please contact your child's school secretary.
Notes from the Office
Reporting Student Attendance
To help us support your student’s success and safety, all attendance notifications need to come through the school office. This includes:
- Absences — Please let us know each day your child is out, especially if they’re sick for multiple days. You may email doctor's notes to the school secretary or send them to school with your student.
- Late Arrivals & Early Pick-Ups — Inform the office so we can properly record the day.
- Extended Vacations - Please fill out the Pre-Planned Absence Form (link is located at the bottom of the newsletter) and return it to the office with your student.
- Attendance may be reported to the office via phone, secretary email, or via Infinite Campus Parent Portal under "more" and "absence requests".
📞 Phone: 920-808-6440
Important!: If someone other than a parent/guardian will be picking up your student, please notify the office ahead of time. For everyone’s safety, the person picking up must show a valid ID at pickup so we can confirm they’re approved to take your child. Changes to student pick-up information must be reported to the office by 2:30 pm so that the office can send your student a note before the end of the day.
Thank you for staying connected and helping us ensure every student’s day is safe, smooth, and successful!
📚Little Readers, Big Adventures!
Our kindergarten friends in Mrs. Reinke’s classroom are already building their love of reading! Students are learning about their book boxes and practicing looking at books independently. We love seeing these little readers explore new stories and grow their confidence one book at a time!
Thank You, Community!
A huge thank you to our local Chick-fil-A and our wonderful community for your generous donations of school supplies! Your kindness and support help make sure our staff and students have the supplies they need to have a successful school year.
We are so grateful for the continued support our school receives from our community. Thank you for helping make a difference at Menominee Elementary!
