Dear Beneke Families,

What a GREAT first week of school! It has been so exciting to see our halls full of our Beneke Bears! Thank you for helping make our first week a successful one. We are so proud of our students and appreciate your patience and support as we establish our routines.

⭐ Next Week Is a BIG Week!

Beginning Monday, our Bears will find their way to class without parent support. Please know that our staff members will be stationed throughout the hallways to welcome, support, and guide your children to class. We are ready to help our Bears become confident and independent as they begin their school day.

🚌 Arrival Reminders

Parents, it is very important that you do not park in front of the school during arrival. Parking in this area blocks our buses and creates challenges for student arrival.

Please follow these designated arrival locations:

  • Car Riders & Walkers: Drop off in front of the cafeteria entrance.
  • Daycare Students & Students with Special Needs Transportation Tags: Drop off at the front of the school. These students will be escorted to class.
  • Special Education Lane: Please do not enter this lane unless you have the designated Special Education transportation tag. If you do not have the designated tag, you will be asked to drive around to the appropriate entrance.

⏰ Tardy Procedures Beginning Monday

Beginning Monday, students arriving after 8:05 a.m. will be considered tardy.

If your child arrives after 8:05 a.m.:

  1. You will need to show your ID to enter the campus.
  2. You will sign your student in at the front desk with our receptionist.
  3. Your child will then be sent to class.

Thank you for helping us keep arrival safe, organized, and efficient for all of our Beneke Bears!

We are looking forward to another amazing week of learning, growing, and being STRONGER TOGETHER!

Principal, Beneke Elementary

Julie Smith

Car Rider Information Car Rider Information

Car Rider Number Required

Beginning on the first day of school, families must have a car rider number and the official car rider tag/document provided by the campus in order to pick up their child through the car rider line.

If you need a car rider number or campus car rider tag, please stop by the front office for support.

Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe, organized, and efficient for all of our Bears!

Please be extra patient with us during the first two weeks of school as our Bears learn and become comfortable with our dismissal procedures. Our goal is to have dismissal running smoothly and completed within 20 minutes, but it will take some time for students and staff to learn the process and routines.

For car rider dismissal, the pickup area is located in front of the cafeteria entrance. Please do not enter through the main/front entrance for car rider pickup. Following the designated route will help us keep dismissal safe, organized, and efficient for everyone.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and partnership as we help our Bears learn their new routines!

All car riders must be picked up by 3:45pm. The school will call parents of students who are still on campus after 3:45. Upon arrival, parents must come to the front office to sign the child out. You must have your I.D. to sign your child out after 3:45 p.m. Spring ISD police and/or Child Protective Services will be contacted for any child that is left after 4:30 pm. Parents who arrive after 4:00pm three or more times will be required to find a different transportation option.

Thank you

Gracias
