Fordland Families,

I hope this newsletter finds you well. Last time I wrote this newsletter, we were enjoying unusually mild temperatures for February and March. Unfortunately, a cold snap has been hanging around since then. As they say, if you don't like the weather in Missouri, wait 24 hours!

Our spring sports season is getting started and we have several student-athletes competing for Fordland. The boy's baseball and girl's softball teams are staying busy. Our baseball team is 5-2 and competing in the Wheatland tournament next week. Our softball team is 1-4 but looking to rebound in the Willow Springs tourney this weekend. If track and field is more your speed, you can catch our boy's and girl's team in action in Chadwick! Finally, MS softball and baseball season is also underway. Check out our district calendar or follow our school Facebook pages for game times and other school events.

Once again, your partnership matters to us. Successful schools depend on the support and involvement from families and the local community. Our Fordland team looks forward to continuing the collaboration between home and school. Thank you for supporting your child and us.

#BelieveInBlue

Sincerely,

Stephanie Vickers

Superintendent
