The health office has a great need for boys' and girls' pants, sizes 6-10. If families have any "hand-me-downs" that they can pass on, Nurse Ria would be very welcome to take them off your hands.

Thank you so much!

Has your child ever twisted the truth or even told an outright lie? Be honest! Lying is an expected part of child development. Children lie for all kinds of reasons - to get attention, because they’re feeling embarrassed or anxious, or because of just plain old wishful thinking. Understanding why kids lie can guide caregivers in discussions with children and help them determine what to do about it. Talking to kids about honesty, the desired behavior, might even have the greatest impact of all. Questions or feedback? Please contact Julie Danforth at jdanforth@maynard.k12.ma.us.
