Message from Inter-State for retakes:
What's our Satisfaction Guarantee?
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all picture packages. If a parent would like to replace their student’s original photo with a retake image, simply have the student bring back their original package and turn it in to the photographer on retake day. We’ll fulfill their new order at no charge and send it back to the school for distribution.
Who Should Come to the Camera?
Any student or staff who missed the original photo day should attend retakes if they want to be included in the yearbook or receive an ID.
All students who placed a retake order will appear on a list provided to the school, the photographer, and our team the morning of retakes. Please ensure these students are sent to the camera so we can fulfill their orders accurately.
Students who did not originally order may still take a new photo. If parents would like to place an order based on the retake, they can do so using the school-specific retake order code below.
Do Retakes Cost Anything?
There is no charge to the school or families for retake day.
How are Retake Picture Orders Shipped?
Orders placed using the retake day order code will ship in bulk to the school with no added shipping cost.
If parents wait and use their student-specific code (available ~3 days after retakes), those orders will incur shipping and be sent to their home address.
What's our Retake Date and Order Code?
Retake Date: 10/8/2025
Retake Order Code: 0097WK

Average Daily Attendance (ADA) Report
Consistent attendance is crucial in every child's education. Once again this year we will post this report every week and reward the class that achieves the highest attendance rate. We are off to a great start this year with over 95% for all of PHS and The Class of 2028 has some work to do to defend their title from last year. Each semester the winning class will be rewarded with some sort of special day.
Great week for the Class of 2028! Only class who saw growth. Well done juniors. We are up by almost 10% from last year which is nice to see. Keep up the good work everyone.

Learning About Artificial Intelligence (A.I)
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly changing many aspects of education. At PHS, we believe it is essential to teach our students how to use AI responsibly. AI can be a powerful tool to support learning, but it can also be misused in ways that violate academic integrity.
To help guide our students, the attached graphic will be posted in every classroom. It outlines examples of safe, cautious, and prohibited uses of AI. Our goal is to help students see AI as a tool for brainstorming, organizing, and improving their work—while also understanding that their final work must reflect their own knowledge, thoughts and effort.
As we continue this work, I will share updates and resources with you so we can partner together in helping our students learn to use AI wisely while providing parents with tools that could make school work at home more productive.

Student Athlete Registration Update for 25-26
We are moving away from Final Forms to a new platform - Bound - starting June 1st. If you want, you may take this form to your doctor for your student's sports physical. Your doctor might also have his/her own form used for sports physicals, which is also acceptable. You can either upload the completed form into your Bound account once you've set it up, or you can turn in the form at the PHS office and we can upload it for you. If you have any questions please email Catherine at catherine.dodd@spcsne.org
Bound will not only replace Final Forms, but will be a one stop shop for scheduling and ticketing. We anticipate it's full integration in early June. For a sneak peak at what it will look like CLICK HERE.

Our Core Values
At Platteview High School, we are committed to building a strong foundation that helps every student succeed. Over the past year, our staff and administration worked together to thoughtfully develop and agree upon a set of core values that reflect who we are and what we believe will help every student be successful, not just in high school, but in life: Relationships, Community, Intentional, and Perseverance.
While these are the shared values we have chosen to guide our school community, we also respect and celebrate the fact that each individual and family has their own personal values. Our goal is not to replace those, but to create a common foundation that strengthens and supports every student's growth, belonging, and success at Platteview.
