Dear Grace Christian Families:
We are excited to start sharing with you our plans for the 2022-2023 school year!
First, we wanted to thank those parents that completed the survey we shared two weeks ago. Your feedback is important to us and has been used to make important final budgeting and programming decisions. Based on this feedback, please note the following changes/additions for next year:
- School hours will be 8:15-2:45 pm with half days ending at 12:00 p.m.
- We will be adding a part-time Physical Education teacher and middle school sports Coach.
- We will be adding a part-time technology teacher for grades K-5.
- Students in grades 3-8 will be participating in Spanish language instruction through Rosetta Stone.
- Students in grades K-8 will have the opportunity to participate in choir and musicals.
- Continued study hall time during Extended Care.
- Extended Care will continue to be offered from 6:30-8:00am and 2:45-6:00pm and on half days. Please see the tuition schedule for updated rates.
Our goal is to operate the safest way possible while allowing our students and staff as much freedom as possible. Therefore, we are planning on keeping our current class structure (with small student cohorts and aides) for the 2022-23 school year. This year we are going to focus on what we do best, in person learning. This means that we will not be offering a distance learning track next year.
We will have our first Open House in two years on March 15th, more details to come.
Please open and read through the re-enrollment letter with 22/23 tuition rate schedule and 22/23 school calendar.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

PARENTS. PLEASE READ: COVID AND ILLNESS PROTOCOL AS OF 1-25-22
Please see this clarification for on campus/off campus exposure. Hopefully, it will help you when trying to decide how to handle illness and exposures.
- Please keep your child home if they have any symptoms of illness. At this time we should assume that any symptoms are COVID. We advise you to obtain testing if you are unsure. If your child tests positive please notify the school office. You will receive information about a timeline when we receive your notification.
- For Covid exposure there is one set of rules for on-campus exposure and another for off-campus exposure.
- On campus exposure: We are using the Group Tracing module. Children may remain in school but must be tested on day 3, 4, or 5 after exposure. The school has limited access to rapid tests in the office, so we recommend that students get tested at a local testing site, or you may use a home test kit. If your own is used, we will just need a picture that includes the test with child’s name on it and a date stamp.
- Off campus exposure: If a child is exposed off campus and is vaccinated, they may remain at school as long as they do not have symptoms (We do need a copy of your child’s immunization card for our records). If they are not vaccinated, they should quarantine at home for 5 days and then test. The school has limited access to rapid tests in the office, so we recommend that you test at a local testing site, or you may use a home testing kit. If the test is negative, the child may return to school on day 6 and wear a mask inside and out for 5 more days. If the child tests positive, they will need to isolate for at least 5 days and then retest. You will receive information about a timeline when testing positive.
- Not COVID related: If a child has any other symptoms that are proven non-Covid, they must stay home 2 days. (This does not include students with doctors notes on file)
- If a child has a fever, they should wait to return until there is no fever present or the fever is not being controlled by medication like Tylenol or Ibuprofen.
