Estimadas familias,
Abril termina con nuestra increíble celebración del día del niño. La semana pasada, los alumnos de 5º grado salieron a la comunidad en un viaje increíble a BIZTOWN. La alegría de aplicar su aprendizaje era palpable cuando regresaron con historias para compartir y los trabajos que tenían. En kínder, Maestra Good volvió a encontrar abrazos y alumnas florecientes. Un patito bebé nace en la clase del Sr. Sammons, visítenos y vea si han nacido más. Nos reunimos, en comunidad, con nuestra primera asamblea presencial en el auditorio. Estamos muy orgullosos de nuestros estudiantes nominados del mes que ganaron premios por ser grandes solucionadores de problemas difíciles. La mediación no es una tarea fácil y estos futuros creadores de cambios están listos para levantarse con calma y aplomo. Agradecemos a los miembros del consejo estudiantil que apoyan muchas áreas de la escuela y ayudaron a reunir esta asamblea.
La semana pasada celebramos nuestro increíble personal de oficina de asistentes administrativos. Su conocimiento de las familias y los sistemas PPS y su capacidad para mantenernos a todos informados mientras sonríen es notable. Agradecemos su dedicación al servicio público.
A medida que abril se acerca a mayo, queremos recordarles a las familias que el servicio de desayuno comienza a las 7:45 y las clases comienzan a las 8:00. Los estudiantes llegan a un círculo comunitario donde aprenden habilidades sociales y emocionales y fortalecen los lazos entre ellos. Realice los ajustes necesarios para asegurarse de que su estudiante esté aquí y listo a tiempo para aprender.
No puedo esperar para lanzar un nuevo mes centrado en el coraje. Que tengan un increíble fin de semana Leones.

Dear Families,
April ends with our incredible día del niño celebration. This past week 5th graders went out into the community on an incredible journey to BIZTOWN. The joy of applying their learning was palpable as they returned with stories to share and the jobs they held. In kindergarten, Maestra Good returned to find hugs and blossoming students. A baby duckling hatch in Mr. Sammons class, stop by and check out if more have hatched. We gathered, in community, with our first in-person assembly in the auditorium. We are so proud of our student of the month nominees who earned awards for being great solvers of difficult problems. Mediation is no easy task and these future change makers are ready to rise up with calm and poise. We thank our student council members who support many areas of the school and assisted in bringing together this assembly.
This past week we celebrated our incredible office staff of administrative assistants. Their knowledge of families and PPS systems and ability to keep us all informed while smiling is remarkable. We appreciate their dedication to public service.
As April turns to may we want to remind families that breakfast service begins at 7:45 and classes start at 8:00. Students arrive into a community circle where they learn social emotional skills and strengthen bonds with one another. Please make any adjustments to ensure your student is here and on-time ready to learn.
