Conference Times

Wednesday, October 29 - 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (1:30 p.m. dismissal - Circle of Care 1:30-5:30 p.m.)

Thursday, October 30 - 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (1:30 p.m. dismissal, no afternoon preschool – Circle of Care 1:30-5:30 p.m.)

Friday, October 31 – No School/Circle of Care/Daycare for Preschool-Gr. 8

Specialists (Band, Music, and PE), and the School Counselor, will all be available for drop-in conferences. Mrs. Lawrence (Band) will only be available on Thursday.
2-Day Preschool conferences are held in the spring.
Student led conferences are required. Any student not scheduled by Monday October 27, will have a conference time scheduled for them based on teacher availability.

Get ready—the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school! This is a great opportunity to build your child’s home library with new books they’ll dive into again and again.

Here’s everything else you need to know about the Book Fair:

The fair will be open October 28-30 in the Margaret Pardoe Room (MPR/School LIbrary).

• 30 minutes after school on October 28th

• During conference hours

• Students may also purchase books on Tuesday, Oct. 28th and Thursday, October 30 during school

hours.

To keep everyone informed of unexpected changes in the school schedule due to weather, or other important announcements, we use the Remind alert notification system. In addition to this, we send out an email from the school and post the information on our social media pages. For changes due to weather, we also inform KWWL.

Our weather policy is posted as “Weather Announcements” under the Quick Links on the home page of the school website.

Through the Remind alert notification system, parents can sign up for text alerts, push notifications (when you download the Remind app), or emails.

For emails only, go to rmd.at/cd4he on a computer to sign up for email notifications. You do not need to sign up again if you have signed up before.

Our billing office has requested that if you have outstanding bills for tuition, Circle of Care, or lunch balances that you contact us to make payment or send in your check payment with your student.

If you would like to pay online, you can use our new online payment portal EzSchoolpay. Your student ID number for set up is located at the top of your October 1st invoice.

Don’t forget! Our Trunk or Treat is coming up on Saturday, October 25th!

Hi, my name is Becca and I am working with the local girl scouts counsel to start a troop here at St. Patrick's. We have some girls signed up already, but if we are unable to find another adult volunteer we will be unable to continue with the troop.

Please consider joining us at our first meeting for further information! Right now meetings are Thursdays shortly after school, but if you interested in helping out we can always try to find a different day of the week or time which works better. This year’s theme: “Life Is A Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free™.”

On Monday, October 27th, students may wear a red top (no hoods) with uniform bottoms to celebrate Red Ribbon Week!

To celebrate Halloween a little early, students are permitted to wear Orange, Black or school appropriate Halloween themed shirts, with uniform bottoms. No costumes or costume accessories.

As a reminder, students are allowed to wear shorts and skirts without tights or leggings until Oct.30th.

When we return to school on Nov. 3rd all students will need uniform approved pants, skirts/jumpers with leggings or tights underneath. As a rule, leggings alone are not considered uniform bottoms.

Please look over our dress code as we change seasons and prepare for cooler months ahead.

Due to parent teacher conferences, we will not have school on Friday, October 31st. This means there will be no school, preschool, daycare or Circle of Care available. Enjoy your long Halloween weekend!

CPTO is once again hosting their annual Ninja/U Night on November 7th, from 6-8:00 p.m. This is open to students in grades 3rd-8th.

All students attending will need to have a parent fill out the Google Sign-up form by Nov. 5th and have a parental signed waiver on file with Ninja/U before they will be permitted to attend. Cost is $10 per student, payable at the door. Snacks and drinks are available to purchase from Ninja/U.

Additional supervision will not be provided outside of the Ninja/U staff, so please plan parental supervision accordingly.

Check out our apparel store with Iowa Sport Supply to help with school approved uniform needs. All orders are placed directly through Iowa Sport Supply and take 3-4 weeks to be ready for pick up.

We are now utilizing a new online bill pay system. EZSchoolPay can be used to pay your lunch balances, Circle of Care fees, preschool fees, etc. You should have received a separate email earlier in September with instructions on getting your account setup to pay your fees online.

This system is used as a family account, therefore you only need the information for one student per family when registering, and payments need to be made for one family member to be shared with siblings. Multiple lunch and Circle of Care payments are not necessary, as these are family accounts.

October invoices have the website and student number necessary for creating an account.

We will no longer utilize Revtrak. If you have their site bookmarked, please update to the EZSchoolPay site.
