Fairfield Panther Paw

April 4, 2025

Fairfield PantherPawApril 4, 2025

From Mrs Tennenbaum

Hopefully these April showers will bring May flowers. We continue to stress our ROAR expectations with our students. We do have high expectations as we have been in school for over 30 weeks and students should be able to meet those expectations. The 3rd and 4th graders began Ohio State Testing this week and will conclude the week after spring break. A few of PHSN football players came by on Monday to greet the students and give them encouraging high fives to do well on the tests. We even made the news again, They have been working hard and taking their time to show us what they have learned this year. With the OSTs and the IReady diagnostics coming up in May, I am excited to see the growth that all of our students made this year.

Reminders regarding Attendance

Consistent school attendance is the foundation of academic success. When students miss school, they miss out on valuable lessons, discussions, and interactions that can't be fully replaced. Even a few absences can create learning gaps, making it harder to keep up with classwork and leading to lower achievement. Regular attendance, as well as arriving to school on time, builds strong study habits, social skills, and a sense of responsibility—critical skills for future success. Every day in class is an opportunity to learn, grow, and prepare for the future. Make every day count!

Please call or email the front office if you have attendance related questions. Additionally, you can find valuable information on the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce website regarding attendance law and policies. We are required by the law to address attendance when it falls under these policies.

"Extras" at lunch

On certain days, students may have an opportunity to purchase an additional lunch. There is also the ability to purchase just a milk if they are packing or some students like to get a second milk. In order to get these extras, students must have money on their food service account. Those additional items are not free. The district website under food service will direct you on how to place money on your student account.

Celebrating Awesome!
