March 20th, 2026

Dear Pentucket Families,

As we move further into March, we are officially entering testing season at Pentucket. Over the next several weeks, our students will be participating in a variety of important assessments, including MCAS exams and Advanced Placement (AP) testing.

These assessments are an opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning and growth, and we are confident in the preparation they have received from our dedicated faculty. At the same time, we know that this time of year can feel demanding for students.

As always, we ask for your partnership in supporting your child by:

  • Ensuring they get a good night’s sleep

  • Starting the day with a healthy breakfast

  • Being present and on time to school

These small but important steps go a long way in helping students feel focused, confident, and ready to do their best.

At the same time, it’s hard to believe that spring sports are already underway. With the snow finally melted, our fields are coming back to life and our student-athletes are back outside practicing and preparing for their seasons. There is a renewed energy across campus that comes with the change in weather, and it’s wonderful to see students balancing both their academic responsibilities and extracurricular commitments.

Adjusted end of year dates will be shared in the next two weeks. Stay tuned for that.

Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support.

Brenda Erhardt

Project 351

Project 351 is a leadership program designed to provide 8th graders with the chance to learn how to lead. One 8th grade ambassador is chosen, one from each town in Massachusetts. That brings us to your ambassadors: Owen Potter (Groveland ), Louis Sayani (West Newbury), and Marina Bistany (Merrimac). This month the ambassadors will be hosting a clothing drive for Cradles to Crayons, a nonprofit organization that supplies clothing to children in Massachusetts. From March 30th through April 10th they will be asking for donations of slightly used clothing for young children, but all sizes are welcome. They will be collecting these items at the Pentucket Regional Middle High School, Bagnall, and Donaghue from March 30th through April 10.Please feel welcome to donate.
