Star Wars the Musical
Memorial 5th grade students performed an original production of “Star Wars the Musical” this week.
The show was the brainchild of music teacher Rachel Zeleny who wrote the script and taught several musical pieces during music class for the show. Students performed with bucket drums, boomwhackers and xylophones and sang in 2 and 4 parts, as well as 3-part canon. Set design and speaking roles were part of an afterschool program.
