In the fourth quarter, Armada closed the game with 17 points while Dryden added 14. Armada (4-5) held on for a 59–55 victory over Dryden (4-6). “We played hard. For Dryden, Gianni Coscione led the way with 16 points; Hayden Blair followed with 14; Brady Schneider added 12; Luke Taylor scored 8; Jax Morley finished with 3; and Tyler Roberts contributed 2.

Indoor Track Club

Four Dryden athletes competed at the SVSU Michigan Indoor Track Series (MITS) #1 indoor meet on January 10, and the team got off to a strong start with several personal records and solid early-season performances. MITS is a group of volunteers who have joined with the Michigan Track and Field Coaches Association (MITCA) to host an Indoor State Track and Field Championship Meet and promote the sport here in Michigan. Sophomore Claire Wright also posted personal records in her distance races. Wright ran a PR of 6:07.34 in the 1600 meters, then competed in the 3200 meters, continuing to build strength early in the indoor season.
Senior Cara Prusakiewicz made her indoor debut at SVSU and turned in solid performances. She ran a personal-best 2:43.13 in the 800 meters and followed with a PR of 5:43.02 in the 1600 meters, giving her a strong start to the year.
