First Week of School!
Welcome Back!
Lincoln Families,
I hope you all had a wonderful summer. We are so excited to welcome our students back and begin another amazing school year. The energy during GYSD was incredible and it was wonderful meeting our new Lincoln families and reconnecting with those returning.
For those who do not know me, I am Dr. Cuevas, your proud Principal of Lincoln Middle School. I am entering my third year in this role and there is truly no place I would rather be. It is an honor to lead such a vibrant and caring community. Below is information regarding the first day of school procedures.
First Day of School – Thursday, August 21st
Gates open at 8:15 a.m. Parents are welcome to join their child on the front lawn, take first-day photos, and enjoy the electric atmosphere. Students will pick up their schedules, which we call their Golden Ticket, at the following locations:
- 6th Grade Front Lawn
- 7th Grade Cafeteria Patio
- 8th Grade Front of the Library
The Golden Ticket is required to enter class. Once the bell rings, we kindly ask parents to say goodbye and join us for coffee at our first PTSA meeting of the year. This will be a great opportunity for us to connect.
