Mustang Messenger 3/12/26
Some thoughts for the starting school year
March 19, 2026
A Message from the Principal
Dear St. Matthias Families,
Over the past few weeks, we have experienced quite a shift in the weatherβone day warm and sunny, the next day cold and brisk. This unpredictability can be a reminder of how quickly circumstances around us can change.
Yet, in the midst of these changes, we are called to remain steady. Scripture reminds us in Hebrews 13:8, βJesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.β While the world around us may feel uncertain at times, our foundation in Christ remains constant.
At the Academy of St. Matthias, we continue to guide our students to remain grounded in their faith, consistent in their efforts, and committed to doing what is rightβeven when circumstances change. These are the qualities that help shape not only strong students, but strong individuals of character and faith.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our school community.
With gratitude,
Dr. Coretta N. Streat
Principal
