HAPPY 100TH DAY OF SCHOOL!
1,000 Math Problems for 1,000 Days of School in 5th Grade!
Fraser Pride!
Our Peer 2 Peer group had the opportunity to attend the high school Unified Basketball game, where they proudly cheered on our team! It was an incredible experience watching students compete, celebrate, and support one another.
Unified Sports is a partnership between schools and Special Olympics that promotes inclusion, teamwork, and friendship by bringing students with and without disabilities together on the same team. Events like this highlight the power of belonging and remind us that when we play together, we win together.
CTE Career Fair
Our school proudly partnered with our Career Navigators for a day filled with excitement, exploration, and hands-on learning! Our 6th graders were introduced to a variety of career pathways, including culinary arts, welding, health sciences, and many more opportunities available right here in Fraser.
Students actively participated in engaging activities that gave them a glimpse into real-world career experiences. From interactive demonstrations to skill-based challenges, the day was designed to spark curiosity and inspire future goals.
It was a wonderful day of discovery, learning, and dreaming big about what lies ahead!
Celebrating Black History Month ✨
In honor of Black History Month, students have been learning about influential African American leaders through a variety of engaging activities. They’ve watched BrainPOP Jr. videos, listened to a book collection on Epic, and enjoyed reading during Read to Self time. Along the way, students completed short information sheets about several individuals, helping them reflect on each person’s impact while strengthening their listening, reading, and comprehension skills.

1. Sign Up for Kids Heart Challenge by downloading the free “AHA Schools” app for Apple or Android or by clicking HERE.
2. Be a hero: Send 10 texts TODAY to help save lives.
3. Complete Finn’s Mission: Complete all 7 steps, learn Hands-Only CPR, and be entered to win two Super Bowl tickets!
By signing up and raising funds, you can help us earn gift certificates for physical activity and recess equipment to support the health & wellness of our school community.
Let’s work together to create a community of lifesavers. Thank you for your support in helping us achieve this incredible goal!
Yeti is coming back!
Yeti is a 4-year-old Chocolate English Labrador Retriever with a heart as big as his smile. For the past three years, he has proudly served as a therapy dog, earning both his AKC Canine Good Citizen Title and Certification with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. He is also registered with Fur Angels.
Yeti loves bringing joy to schools, hospitals, libraries, and even the airport, where his gentle nature and wagging tail brighten everyone’s day. He adores his brother, Chief (a black Labrador), long walks in the park, children of all ages, and, above all…Pup Cups!
Yeti will be visiting Ike soon! If you DO NOT want your child to interact with Yeti, please fill out the form below. Thanks!
Bus ID Scanning Begins February 9
Beginning Monday, February 9, Fraser Public Schools will implement the Synovia bus-scanning system for all bus-eligible elementary students.
Using Synovia, students scan their school ID when boarding and exiting the bus. This quick process provides the district with accurate ridership information and adds an extra layer of safety by helping staff know who is on each bus at any given time.
What families should know:
Who is included: Bus-eligible Y5–6 students
Who is not included: GSRP preschool students and special education students who receive door-to-door transportation
Distribution: Students will receive a coil bracelet and ID card during the school day Monday
Start date: Students will begin scanning after school on February 9
Students will never be denied access to the bus if they forget their ID. However, administrative follow-up will occur for students who repeatedly forget to bring it. Replacement ID cards are available through school media centers (a $3 fee may apply).
Here Comes the Bus App
The Synovia system connects with the free Here Comes the Bus app, which allows families to view bus arrival times and receive alerts when students scan on or off the bus.
To set up the app, families will need:
District code: 87797
Student ID number (found on report cards, in PowerSchool, or by contacting the school office)
Thank you for your partnership as we continue working to keep student transportation safe and secure.
⭐ School Information & Reminders! ⭐
Parking Lot Safety Reminder
Parking Lot Safety Reminder
Student safety is always our number one priority at Ike. Our parking lot is busy with young learners entering and exiting the building each day, and we ask for your continued help in keeping everyone safe.
There is no parking on the side of the building during dismissal, as students are exiting classrooms in this area.
Parents should park only in designated parking spots.
Please use sidewalks when walking to and from the building.
Thank you for your partnership in making sure our arrival and dismissal times remain safe for all of our students.
Cold Weather Update!
We're starting to see MANY students bundled up each day, which is great! Please be sure to send your child to school dressed for the weather each day. Students will start needing warm coats, gloves, hats, scarves, and/or boots daily throughout the winter.
Please take time to label each and every item- because our lost and found gets bombarded with lost winter accessories throughout the season
Please note that, per Board Policy, we will be having outdoor morning lineup and heading outdoors for our 25 minute recess(es) if the windchill is 10+ degrees.
Time outdoors is time well spent for kids, in all seasons.
Required Forms For Student Medical Conditions
Does your child have a medical condition? Be sure all of the following (applicable) forms are updated annually and submitted to the front office with necessary emergency medication(s):
* Administration of Prescription Medication Form
* Diabetes Medical Management Form
* Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Care Plan
