Next week we have our Open House and Back to School Picnic. Always a fan favorite and a great time to reconnect with friends, and see the school.

Open House & Picnic:

5:00 - 5:15:

• K- 5 Parent meeting in the gym
• Middle School Parent meeting in classrooms (a separate email will come to you)
• If you have children in both and have to choose, please go to the MS meeting

5:15 - 5:45: Open House; visit all classrooms and meet the teachers

• Mrs. Meckley; our Cafeteria Director will be on hand to accept funds and answer questions

5:45: Picnic

A special thank you to Brynn Porter, who took the lead for the Used Uniform Sale. Also, thank you to; Ashley Bartley, Mary Beth Seprich, Ashley Page, Michelle Darnell, Malissa Martin, Chealsea Mellett, Melanie Smith, Katelyn Cline, Megan Rawding, Kelly Fritzsche, and Allison Barrett who helped make the sale a tremendous success.

The proceeds from the sale go into our Emergency Fund; we use this money to support families and faculty that might need assistance in some way. Thank you!

We have the Lands' End sample skirt sizes (for middle school) in the office. If you would like to have your daughter try them on before ordering, stop in.

• Kindergarten Orientation - Friday, August, 22nd, 2025

• First Parent Monthly Meeting - Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 at 6:30PM.
• Please see the details below.
• All Parent Monthly Meeting will be held on the second Tuesday of each month with the exception of December. December's meeting will be held on a Friday to accommodate an OLVCS Family Movie Night event.

• The Walk-a-Thon will be held on OLV Day, October 7, 2025.
  
• This event is our school's primary fundraiser, providing vital support for our programs, facilities, and activities.
• Summer offers an ideal opportunity to get a head start on your family’s fundraising efforts.
• Whether you’ll be enjoying time at home or traveling to visit loved ones, there are many simple and meaningful ways to begin working toward your goal:
  
• Host a Lemonade Stand
• Organize a Bake Sale
• Offer a Car Wash
• Do chores for donations
• Sell homemade crafts or artwork
• Hold a yard sale
• Provide dog walking or pet sitting services
• Send handwritten donation letters to family and friends
• Speak with relatives during summer visits to ask for their support

• Every little bit helps, and remember, your summer fundraising efforts will count toward students’ eligibility for individual, family, and class prizes!

• Children at OLV Preschool are taught by highly qualified teachers in a play-based environment.
• Curriculum includes:
• social/emotional skills
• pre-reading skills and language readiness activities
• math and science readiness activities
• participation in music, arts and daily physical activities
• learning about their faith in fun and memorable ways
• Before and after school care is available.
