Recycling by the Numbers

Despite the short month and winter break, the number of recycled snack wrappers peaked in February, topping more than 1,300! Recycling at the Amistad Friendship Dance resulted in salvaging 270 plastic drinking cups from the garbage and nearly 14% of all plastic bottles collected during the month. Many thanks to our parent volunteers who helped that night!
