Dear 8th Grade Families,
I know the students are getting excited for their field trip to Kennebunk, Maine! We must follow regulations for the state of Maine.
Here are the forms to be completed if your child takes medication that will be needed for this trip. If you feel your child may require an over the counter medication while on the trip, including ibuprofen or acetaminophen (Tylenol or generic) it will require a doctor's order and parent permission due to Maine's policies. Parent permission is also required for sunscreen and/or insect repellent (students should bring their own and it should be non aerosol).
Please see the attached forms and have your child’s doctor complete their sections (if needed) and sign and complete the parent sections for any medication that may be needed on their field trip from May 26th-May28th. If you need forms sent home, please contact me.
***If your child has asthma and has a current Asthma Action Plan on file, we do not need a new order for this.
Corrina Brick will be assisting with medication administration on this field trip to students as needed. All medical paperwork, including physician orders must be completed and returned to me by: May 18, 2026.
