Happy Sunday, Mustang Families!

Thank you for a wonderful first week of our second quarter! We are officially back in motion, with academics and enrichment in full force. It has been wonderful welcoming our Mustangs back from Fall Break and seeing them return ready to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. We love continuing to support and challenge your learners while cultivating a school community where every student feels safe, supported, and confident taking risks in their learning.

Thank you for your continued support of our Vinewood staff and for partnering with our teachers and staff to help your students succeed. Strong school-family connections make a difference, and we are grateful to have such a supportive Mustang community.

We have a busy week ahead, filled with exciting events and important meetings! Be sure to check out what’s happening so you don’t miss a thing:

Tuesday

• Science Olympiad Informational Meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria (grades 3–6)

• Minimum Day

• Dress Like Your Teacher Day! We can’t wait to see our Mustangs show off their creativity.

• Mustang Buck Store

• Chipotle Dine Out from 4:00–8:00 p.m. Support Vinewood while enjoying a meal with your family!

• Fifth Grade Science Camp Meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria

• Makeup Picture Day in the morning. Please make sure your student arrives on time!

• Harvest Festival! We are preselling punch cards throughout the week to help families prepare. Check below for more details!

As the weather changes, please remember that our school dress code requires students to wear socks and closed-toe athletic shoes every day. Proper footwear helps keep our Mustangs safe and ready to participate in all school activities. Please avoid boots, rain boots, and other non-athletic footwear during the school day.

As Vinewood Mustangs, we are Safe, Respectful, and Responsible! Please continue reinforcing these expectations at home and talking with your students about what they look and sound like throughout the school day. When school and home work together, we build a stronger community for everyone.

Thank you for being such an important part of our Mustang family. We look forward to another fantastic week of learning, connection, and school spirit!

Sincerely,

Alyssa Barban, Principal
