Oakhurst Weekly
From the Principal
Families, please ensure that you see your child safely enter the school building through the front or back doors during arrival. Recently, some students have been dropped off and asked to walk in on their own, or released in areas not within sight of a school entrance. This creates unsafe situations, particularly when students must navigate parking lots or driveways without adult supervision. Thank you for partnering with us to keep all students safe during arrival.
In some fun news, several of our students have been participating in the DHS Cheer Camp this week and will be cheering at tomorrow's varsity girls basketball game at 6:00pm. Both varsity girls and boys teams are playing Tri-Cities, and it's always an entertaining matchup! The boys team (with a few Oakhurst alums on the roster!) currently sits at first in the region (ninth in the state) with a record of 16-2. We'd love to see lots of Oakhurst Owls supporting our own cheerleaders and Bulldog basketball! More info on tickets here.
