Preparations begin for ATP move to Surfside Academy campus
ATP is preparing for our move to the Surfside Academy campus. The school district has been busy renovating the campus and we are excited to be a part of the new and improved site. Our students visited the site on Wednesday, April 29th, met the principal and saw the space where their new classrooms will be located. We will have an informational meeting for parents/caregivers with our current administrator, Heidi Barker, and the principal of Surfside, Eric Frandsen. We hope you can join us.

Take Me Home Registry
Getting lost is scary and can be dangerous. Especially for someone living with dementia, autism, or other developmental disabilities. Ask yourself: Could your loved one communicate their name and address if they were lost? If the answer is no, or may change at some point, consider enrolling in the Take Me Home program. The Take Me Home program is a safety net for the future, so you can have peace of mind today. This information is confidential and can only be accessed by law enforcement in an emergency. You can sign your loved one up for the Take Me Home program by contacting your local Crime Prevention Specialist, or by clicking the registration link below.
Blue Envelope Program
San Diego County is proud to offer the Blue Envelope Program. The program is designed to promote inclusivity and serve as an enhanced communication awareness tool between law enforcement and community members diagnosed with a condition or disability such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, dementia, anxiety or other conditions that might require additional accommodations or awareness during a law enforcement interaction.
The program was designed in collaboration between the San Diego County Sheriff's Office, community organizations, the San Diego County Police Chiefs' and Sheriff's Association and the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.
The Blue Envelope Program works by allowing an individual to readily display the Blue Envelope logo or present a Blue Envelope upon contact with law enforcement or other community service personnel. The Blue Envelope-branded products can contain the individual's identification, contact information or pertinent vehicle operating documents such as the vehicle registration and proof of insurance.
The Blue Envelope Program does not have a registry component; therefore, the program is voluntary and self-implemented.
