Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!

My name is Amanda Adams and I am thrilled to welcome you to the new school year. I will send weekly updates on Mondays with important dates and information about Spring Brook.

I am returning to Spring Brook after working the past three years as Assistant Principal at Granger Middle School. I've previously taught 3rd grade, multi-lingual learners, and spent two years as Student Services Coordinator. This summer, my husband and I spent time in Michigan with our son, Emmett (6 months old) and our dog, Denali.

Spring Brook staff and I are excited to have you and your child join us for this year. Please see below for important information for you and your child. We look forward to partnering with you this year!

Classroom Teacher Assignments Classroom Teacher Assignments

You will be able to access classroom assignments starting Monday, August 10th at 6AM in ParentVUE. The system will experience and overload. If you are unable to log in, please be patient, you may need to check back later in the day. To learn your child's teacher, you will need your ParentVUE username and password.

All students have been thoughtfully placed with a teacher. Classroom assignments are final and will not be changed. Please do not contact the office with a change inquiry. We appreciate your support and encouragement with students as they begin a new year.

If you need assistance, please call the main office at 630.428.6600.

While you are in ParentVUE, please verify we have your correct phone number and email for important school-to-home communication.

Kindergarten Orientation - Tuesday, August 11th Kindergarten Orientation - Tuesday, August 11th

During Kindergarten Orientation, kindergarteners along with their parent/guardian will be introduced to Spring Brook, their teacher, and the classroom. We will practice our beginning of the day routines, so each child is comfortable when they arrive on the first day of school without parents. Teachers will also share important information with parents/guardians on topics such as: Spring Brook's arrival/dismissal routine, snack policy and lunch, specials, and parent/teacher communication.

Incoming kindergarteners will attend one of the following sessions depending on the first letter of their last name:

A-L 9:30 – 10:15

M-Z 10:15 – 11:00

After the orientation, kindergarteners and their families are invited to attend the PTA sponsored Kindergarten Picnic beginning at 11:00 and will be the perfect opportunity for our new students and families to get to know each other!

Car Riders

Students driven to school should be dropped off/picked up using the following arrival/dismissal procedures:

  • Parents are asked to prearrange pickup locations with children to avoid congestion on the front sidewalk and doors.
  • The front circle driveway will be open as an alternative AM drop-off area only from 8:50 AM - 9:05 AM. The system will be a “kiss and ride” procedure to drop off students - parents may not park or leave their car along the driveway. All vehicles must enter from the south and exit north along Seiler Drive. The circle offers one way flow. Cars enter as space permits and are directed to pull forward for drop-off. Please be patient and cautious, as traffic will move through the circle quickly. No left or U turns into or out of the circle drive from Seiler is permitted.
  • Children must exit cars on the red safety curbside. Students may conveniently use all sidewalks to walk to entrances.
  • Circle drive passes are available in the office for students needing front pickup related to medical reasons.
  • The front driveway is not to be used for student PM pickup.
  • The parking lot north of the building is for the buses and daycare vehicles. It is not designated for pick-up or drop-off of students by parents. There is no admission / departure during arrival and dismissal times except for the buses and daycare vehicles.

Please carefully review and save this information and patiently follow it any time you drive to school.
