Superintendent's Letter
Dear Bristol Township School Community,
I hope everyone had a fantastic start to the school year! Students were enthusiastic to see their classmates and teachers, and to dive back into a new year of learning. It is wonderful to see academics, athletics, arts, and other extracurricular activities back in full swing.
Thank you to the entire Bristol Township staff for their incredible hard work and dedication in ensuring a positive and safe environment for our students to thrive. Their commitment to excellence has been evident in every classroom and hallway. Additionally, thank you to the many families who have already been getting involved in our community, from attending orientations and information sessions to making our back-to-school nights a huge success. Your partnership is invaluable.
Please enjoy our September newsletter and the various highlights around our district.
Sincerely,
Michael Nitti

Staff Updates
Mackereth Moves to Anti-Bullying/School Climate Specialist Role at Mill Creek
Mill Creek teacher Racheal Mackereth is moving into the role of Anti-Bullying/School Climate Specialist for the school.
Mackereth replaces Victoria Livolsi, who was promoted to an Assistant Principal position at Mill Creek. Livolsi was the first Anti-Bullying Specialist at Mill Creek, starting in the role when the grant-funded position was initially brought into the district in 2023.
Mackereth has been an educator since 2016 and has extensive experience with school wide systems of support, and in fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment that promotes student growth and achievement. She has been very involved in the district’s professional development program and was awarded the Keystone Technology Innovator designation for excellence in educational technology. Mackereth has a Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Millersville University.
Mackereth’s main role as the Anti-Bullying/School Culture Specialist at Mill Creek is to lead the investigation of any allegations of harassment, intimidation, and bullying; and to act as the primary school staff member responsible for preventing, identifying, and addressing incidents of harassment, intimidation, and bullying in the school.
She will also be responsible for working with the entire school community to build a safe, positive and harmonious school culture.
“We are excited to welcome Racheal into this position," BTSD Chief Academic Officer Amy Coleman stated. "She is a dedicated and innovative educator and we think she will do great things for the students and school culture of Mill Creek in her new role."
