Happy December...and now the sprint to winter break. Here is to a great month filled with great music. To ensure a smooth end to the semester and set yourself up for success in the spring, please take a moment to review the important updates and reminders below.

Have you registered yourself for the All-State Music Festival & In-Service Conference? Remember, registration is not automatic, so you'll need to complete this step yourself. Be sure to register by December 14th to avoid late fees.

This week you will receive an invoice for student participation in All-State. Please make sure you turn it in for payment. If you are paying with school funds, please make sure that you have sent Neil Swapp a copy of the PO.

As we move into December, conference details will be updated on this webpage. Be sure to check back regularly as information is finalized. In the coming weeks, you’ll find updates on parking, the educator schedule, the student schedule, concert ticket information, concert times, and more.

Plan ahead and order copies of the 2025 All-State concerts by accessing this order form. Please make sure to share with students as well.

By now you should have secured music for your selected students. If you have not, please do so immediately. Music vendor information can be found here. Choir directors, don't forget to purchase the learning tracks for your students (link)!

Do you have a student planning on majoring in music education and attending a university in New Mexico? Encourage them to apply for the NMMEA Scholarship. Please share this link with them and remind them the deadline for submission is December 15th.

Congratulations to Joseph Flores from Las Cruces, who is a candidate for NAfME Southwest Division President (link). Keep an eye out for more information from NAfME regarding the election, and let's plan to support "one of our own" in representing us with NAfME. Voting will take place from January 14th to February 13th. Congratulations again, Joseph!
